Nicole Churchill, MA, MT-BC is a Board Certified Music Therapist and Transpersonal Psychotherapist. She developed Kosmic Pulse as an all ages, physically active, dynamic class exploring music, movement, and mindfulness to facilitate transformational experiences. This movement form can be adapted to meet each student’s physical needs. It is preferred that students dance bare foot, but shoes are permitted if needed.
Kosmic Pulse highlights the functional unity that exists between body and mind, and that health, inner vitality, insight and therapeutic change occur through direct experience of the present moment. One of the best ways to engage the present moment is to be aware of the body. Kosmic Pulse brings the best of expressive therapy to a mainstream audience; as a community-based wellness Practice. It allows students to experience the healing nature of music, movement and expression on a daily basis.
Movement provides us with a profound medium and metaphor for discovering where we are growing and where we are stuck. Nicole guides her students through their personal stories rooted deep in their body/mind and helps them unlock inner wisdom, so that they are able to connect to themselves and others more consciously.
Kosmic Pulse emphasizes a full-spectrum exploration of physical and emotional embodiment of archetypal energies and states of consciousness through dance, somatic integration, vocalization, meditation, and tribal/community engagement. You will feel the joy of Kosmic Pulse long after the hour is over!

This ongoing class and practice community meets every Wednesday evening at The BCCP in Newton, 7:30-9:30pm, under the guidance of Dr. Daniel P. Brown and John Churchill. It offers the opportunity to explore the path and meditations to understand and awaken to the True Nature of the Mind.
This realization frees awareness from obstruction and reactivity and allows awareness to be natural, unbounded, and free. This freedom allows for the flowering of the positive qualities of mind and behavior that lead to a life of joyful service in the world; living meditation.
It has been our experience that the transformation to living meditation does not take time, just sincere practice and motivation. We welcome you to come journey with us.
